We warmly welcome you to our services of worship here at Pairc Free Church. If you have not worshipped with us before, our custom is to stand for singing and sit for prayer. We use the NKJV Bible and praise God through the singing of unaccompanied Psalms. Bibles and Psalm books are available at the door and all readings and praise items are displayed on the screen above the lectern.  Services are live-streamed on FaceBook, if you do not wish to be seen on camera, please sit out-with the camera range.

Tea and Coffee:  Please stay behind after the morning service for a cup of tea or coffee.

Sunday Club:  Please pray for our young people and all the children in our community. Pray for volunteers to come forward as new teachers.

Wednesday Prayer Meeting: We meet at 7:30pm to study God’s Word together and pray for the needs of our congregation, community & country. Everyone is warmly invited to attend.

Saturday 22^nd August: Church and Hall clean up. Volunteers wanted to help clean up both buildings and surrounding area prior to the induction on Tuesday 25^th. Meet at 10am.

Saturday 22^nd August: Mission Conference in North Harris Free Church, Tarbert. From 10am-3:30pm. Speakers are Angus & Kirsty (Asia), Muriel (Cambodia) and OMF & Interserve on Mission Opp’s. Free Admission & Lunch provided. All welcome.

Tuesday 25th August:  The Ordination and Induction of Rev Scott Macleod to the charge of Park Free Church will take place on Tuesday 25th August 2026 at 7.00 pm, subject to the successful completion of ordination trials.  The service to be taken by Rev Colin Macleod. A reception will follow in the Caberfeidh Hotel at 9.00pm.  Anyone wishing to travel to the Caberfeidh Hotel by minibus should add their name to the sheet at the back of the hall as soon as possible. All warmly invited.  

Friday 28th August – Stand In the Gap: We have decided to make this month’s event an come as you are worship night. Both English & Gaelic psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. All welcome.      

Fundraiser in aid of Providence Christian School  Former pupil, and keen supporter of the school, Joanna MacBain, is journeying 115 miles on foot in aid of Providence Christian School.  She hopes to walk over 6 days, beginning in Eriskay on Monday 10th August and finish at the school (Stornoway) on Friday 14th.  Every donation, however big or small will be a huge help and is greatly appreciated. If you would like to sponsor Joanna; you can do so online on her Just Giving page or using one of the sponsorship forms which can be found at the Stornoway Christian Bookshop. These details can all be found on the PCS website and social media pages. We look forward to receiving updates from Joanna as she completes her challenge, God bless willing, in August.

Friday 4th September – ETS Study Opportunity – Friday Morning Systematics: ETS offers the opportunity for in-depth study of Systematic Theology every Friday morning throughout the academic year. This offers a wonderful opportunity to grow in knowledge of what the Bible teaches, to grow in confidence for wrestling with big questions, and to grow in love for the God who has done so much for us through his Son.
